Poem - The forest and mountains
I always see the mountain range far away in the distance
The suburbs start at the foot of the forest and run all the way to the ocean
But everytime I drive these roads home, I see nature's mountains
Something of such pure divine beauty
They are so far away but you can see how far.
You can see the earth.
Hills in the suburb speak to me of the beauty of the landscape, all these trees that cover the hill and the winds that sweep across the hill.. Those winds that also greet me at my hidden cozy window
The forests over the mountains are another world.. A beauty, peacefulness, charm that politefully and gracefully expects conservation
Koalas live there
And so many wild animals
So many thousands of birds over there, that only know nature.
I hear beautiful emotional music play when I gaze at the mountains for just one moment
Sometimes longer, constantly changed by this reality and this beauty
Sunsets over the mountains
Memories.. Back through time
One beautiful sunset with pinks, orange, and peach in the sky over this urban suburbia but also all the way over there over those mountains
Many homes have views of the mountains at one local village. Driving past the view, the mountain range is closer here and you can see the forest and changes in the air showing the mountains as clear, or more misty.
The mountains watch over us, many thousands and millions of people on the plains to the ocean, with the lakes, forest, and small areas of nature in between.
The mountains tell me
"watch the sunset, and think of the sun going down behind the mountains. Now think of the night time peacefully coming. The world is black, you know the stars are high above. Everything is so much quieter, but the trees are speaking in silence. Watch the night.. The animals, and life, in the moment.
