Trip to Hervey Bay

I was so excited 
I'd never been to Hervey Bay before 
On the way there 
Finally we passed the usual route I am so familiar with to the sunshine coast 
And such a beautiful landscape opened up to me 
The highway became narrower 
It was such a beautiful day 
And the landscape of bright green lush hills and mountains and trees was so beautiful 
I'll never forget the beauty of the landscapes on the way to Hervey Bay 
We stopped at a rest stop halfway on the way 
And there was a giant cartoonish kangaroo statue 
I had chicken and salad rice paper rolls with mint which I'd never had before 
The rest stop was so busy and crowded
On the rest of the way to Hervey Bay 
We went past so many hills and tree covered landscapes of different types of trees 
I remember the trees were just short bushes in one area 
We went through a tiny little town 
And then Maryborough 
Driving through the old town Maryborough 
I felt like I had gone into the past 
It wasn't far from Maryborough to Hervey Bay 
Through more farm areas with horses and cows 
Then through forests close to the coast 
Hervey Bay was a nice little town 
But at the hotel the view from the room of the Marina was so beautiful and especially the view of K'gari Island in the distance and Little Woody Island in Front. 
Such a bright beautiful day 
And such a comfortable warm place to stay 
I went in the pool that night 
Then out to dinner 
The dinner had such a warm cozy atmosphere 
With a lovely live music performer 
And a few people dancing on the dance floor 
I was happy not even doing much on my holiday 
I just was so relaxed with the setting and atmosphere and being somewhere new and so beautiful 
The next day I had my room coffee when I woke up 
Admiring the view every day 
And we went and explored the beach 
Walking out so far to the tide 
It was such a shallow water beach and the sand was darker and had ripples of bumps in it 
Splashing in the water with our feet 
Next we went to reefworld aquarium 
By the beach 
And I loved seeing all the different kinds of local fish 
Including bright colourful patterned fish 
One of my favourite parts 
Of my holiday 
Was patting the big green sea turtles in a tank out the back 
They were such graceful beautiful creatures 
After another lovely dinner at the boat club by the Marina 
It was our last night 
The drive home was so beautiful again 
And we went to the little town of Kennilworth on the way back 
Such a cute charming little town 
Such a beautiful holiday 
And I am so grateful

Poem - Koda The Kitty

Dreams Tuesday 10 June 2025 - Aliens

Last night I dreamed aliens came to earth but it wasn't as scary as I thought it'd be. I first saw them zooming in a spaceship across the sky. Then the spaceship helped a ship full of people that had turned over and brought it to shore.  Robert Irwin was in an apartment next to me and said to me that he'd seen the alien spaceship too but he wasn't afraid.  I think the Aliens wanted to be in control and lead everyone but didn't want to kill everyone just maybe any leaders that resisted them.  And I think they liked people and were interested in us and kind of saw us as pets.  I think in my dream they took a human form and were bigger than us.  I think maybe the Aliens also wanted to help the world and help resolve wars etc as they wanted to step in and help humans.
