Poem - Happy moments at home


What are happy moments at home for you? 
I'm sure you could have a go at writing them down
For me
Being taken away by incense is always a happy moment for me
Painting my nails
The feeling when I've tidied my house and it's clean
Seeing art in my home
Looking out the window
Yes sometimes I just love to stand by the window and stare and wonder about nature - watch the birds and the aliveness of the plants and trees and this natural place... See how each individual tree and plant is changing with the seasons..
See what the sky looks today, usually vibrant blue with fluffy white clouds.
Looking out my window is a simple way to take a break and connect with nature
A happy moment is to watch my 3 boy cockatiels out the back window, seeing whether they are napping,  eating,  playing or singing and wondering what's on their precious angelic minds
A happy moment is to create art with particular inspiring music playing
A happy moment is to see my adventurous friends lively facebook updates
A happy moment is to sometimes listen to laid back,  grounded,  beautiful acoustic, guitar,  or Spanish guitar music during the day,  or perhaps other lighter or instrumental genres of music like cafe music or jazz with singing.
A happy moment is to multitask after being fresh from a shower,  on the made bed,  listening to music while looking on social media and colouring in a colouring book
A happy moment is brushing my hair and putting on makeup
A happy moment is putting on deodorant and perfume and feeling so so fresh and ready for the day
A happy moment is once in a while taking selfies or even doing a little photoshoot of yourself in a new or favourite outfit of clothes.  There's no rules against pretending to be a model if it's just all in your own head.
A happy moment is having a bubble bath and playing a meditation video for whatever area of life you need
A happy moment is learning new and interesting things online that greatly inspire you creatively
A happy moment is singing your favourite songs or expressing yourself emotionally through song and maybe recording it
A Happy moment is art research
A happy moment is reading poetry on twitter
A happy moment is Ofcourse just being with and talking to your friends,  pets, and loved ones
A happy moment is taking a walk in your garden
Happy moments are the chocolate and coffee of life
The happiness in you
That can create happiness in so many other people

Last night I dreamed I went on a date with a guy who liked me and was also doing this challenge where you went through rooms and ended up at this one where you had to take care of bats and go through the process of taking care of them to get out of the room.  The guy was rating me on different qualities compared to other girls he dated. He rated me highly except for being social and in groups. He told me I should be a model. Poem - Koda The Kitty

At my new house  Now living with housemates  There was word around town  That a new kitty was around  His name was Koda  He came to us young  He was a sweetie and good company  A friend a good one  But when Koda was grown  He could show his other side  Believing he's a king above humans  He could be rude  And hiss when they don't do what they're told  Like letting him into my room  Or daring to pet and touch him  When he's not in the mood  Like every cat I guess he's just unique  He loves his cat towers  He loves his food and his treats  He gets on mostly well with his sister Luna  He's glad to have a companion  So the days aren't too lonely and long  But Koda is still good company  He likes just spending time with you  And he can still be a sweetie  The way he looks in my eyes it's true  There must be love there  Koda is Koda  Hissy and royal but f...

Dreams Tuesday 10 June 2025 - Aliens

Last night I dreamed aliens came to earth but it wasn't as scary as I thought it'd be. I first saw them zooming in a spaceship across the sky. Then the spaceship helped a ship full of people that had turned over and brought it to shore.  Robert Irwin was in an apartment next to me and said to me that he'd seen the alien spaceship too but he wasn't afraid.  I think the Aliens wanted to be in control and lead everyone but didn't want to kill everyone just maybe any leaders that resisted them.  And I think they liked people and were interested in us and kind of saw us as pets.  I think in my dream they took a human form and were bigger than us.  I think maybe the Aliens also wanted to help the world and help resolve wars etc as they wanted to step in and help humans.
