How to heal yourself emotionally through journalling

One technique I have thought of to heal yourself emotionally is this.  You may have some things or many things from your life that caused you trauma or great negative emotions.  I've been finding it's emotionally healing to think of each separate emotional issue and all you do is write down and express ALL of your thoughts and feelings related to that emotional issue.  What are ALL of the thoughts in your head about that issue?  And write down all the emotions and feelings you've had related to that emotional issue.  This technique seems to release some sort of weight and be so freeing emotionally to your body!

Being Accepted

Not being accepted is a big fear of mine. It's a big thing to me. I'm not "normal". Apparently some people can't handle that. I'm disabled with anxiety. And I'm really introverted. But at the same time I want to connect with others and be friendly. It's so scary to tell the truth about yourself. Yeah, I am afraid of not being normal and what people think about me.

Feeling Better After Reading Bad News In The World

You read the bad news in the world but then you've got to take care of yourself and focus on and promote all the positive too. For example listening to some calming relaxing meditations then watching positive news or positive online videos. And talking about things with others, or maybe getting therapy. For me doing my own art therapy helps and writing therapeutically. 🩷

Neurodiversity - Would curing them lose their uniqueness? An A.I discussion

# Diversity and Mental Health The question of whether people should be "cured" of mental illnesses like social anxiety disorder or accommodated for is complex. Here are some perspectives to consider: # Accommodating Diversity - *Neurodiversity*: The neurodiversity movement advocates for accepting and accommodating individuals with neurological differences, including those with mental health conditions. - *Inclusion*: Accommodating individuals with mental health conditions can promote inclusion and reduce stigma. - *Unique Contributions*: People with mental health conditions can bring unique perspectives and contributions to society. # Treatment and Cure - *Relief from Suffering*: Treatment can alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life for individuals with mental health conditions. - *Improved Functioning*: Treatment can help individuals manage their symptoms and function more effectively in daily life. - *Personal Growth*: Overcoming mental health challenges can lead to ...

twloha's kind uplifting message to me

I messaged twloha about people thinking I'm unworthy and not good enough because of being disabled with anxiety.  They replied, "we are so sorry to hear you've been made to feel this way friend. We want you to know that none of this is true. Your existence is important, and something to be so proud of. The fact that you're alive is something to celebrate! We're so glad you're here."

Anxiety Disability - Should They Conform To Society or Should Society Adjust For Their Diversity?

Do you think if you're disabled with anxiety you should be cured so you conform with society or should you be seen as a natural part of diversity and society should change to suit you and be told there's nothing wrong with you?

An exposure therapy technique to help with Anxiety and Social Anxiety

I thought of this technique to help with my social anxiety about going places. Because I do want to get out of my comfort zone and push myself and have new life experiences, and I think that's a great goal for everyone.  So this exposure therapy technique is basically just taking very small steps at a time towards the place you are anxious about.  So I would tell myself all I have to do is go to the carpark of the place, then can go home if I like. But, if I do feel ok, even after 5 or 10 minutes of waiting and observing the environment and calming myself, I can then take just one little step further and go to the entrance of the place, just to the door or inside the entrance, then can turn around and go home if I want. But if I do feel ok, I can go a bit further, and take several more steps like this until I'm at the location I'm interested in.  After doing this technique with a live music venue at a restaurant, I lost my fear of this place and I now feel ok going there....
