Diverse Body Representation in Society and Media

What I'm currently seeing is that a lot more people with thin bodies are represented in society and media. On Tv and in magazines and ads etc.  So what this is saying is that people with genetics that lead to thinner bodies are better people than and superior to people with genetics that lead to larger bodies.  The ethical solution seems to be to represent people equally based on random selections of people from everyday life.  Because why aren't people valued equally? What's wrong with valuing people equally and loving people?  I wish people were equally represented and valued.  Even though the case may be that people are against themselves, and just too many people want to see only certain body types that they find attractive, namely, thin body types.
