Animal Whispering Thursday 29 January 2026 - Butcher bird family on holiday

On my holiday at the Gold Coast, a butcher bird must have spotted me through the window and flew onto the balcony. Soon enough a whole family of butcher birds came over including 3 young ones. I fed the butcher birds a little treat and noticed the baby butcher birds were very curious. So I held out my hand with treats for the babies and they kept coming close. Eventually one of them came up and pecked my finger gently! I thought it was so sweet how gentle he was.  Eventually the butcher birds flew off but a couple came back later including a baby which actually did some singing for me. And as I can whistle bird song, we sang along together. It was so beautiful and precious. What a sweet family, that I'll always love, even if I never see them again.

Animal Whispering Friday 19 December - Dog Smiles at me

The other day I went for a walk with my mum and saw 2 boxer dogs with their mum. As one of the dogs walked past me she looked at me and she actually flashed such a loving smile at me. I felt like it was such a positive, comforting message.

Animal Whispering Sunday 14 December 2025 - Butcher birds eat out of my hand

The butcher birds at my new home Franky and Fiona visited me today with their 2 or 3 babies. I got a treat for them and Fiona ate right out of my hand which was amazing. 🩷

Animal Whispering Thursday 4 December 2025 - Butcher birds at my new home

Well I moved house, and within the first few days of moving in, I made friends with a butcher bird that visited me! He flew onto the cockatiel cage and saw me and my mum through the window as I chatted to him. I called him Franky.  And today, I went for a walk around the neighbourhood and to the park down the street. A couple of butcher birds recognised me and flew around me and called to me. Franky, I believe, just sat on top of the water fountain as I sat nearby, just keeping me company for awhile.  The butcher birds also kept flying onto the park name sign.  The message I got from them was that they were communicating that this was their home and territory, and that they were very proud of their home and protective of their home and territory. Today I felt so much love between me and these new butcher birds.

Animal Whispering 7 November 2025 - Butcher bird and baby visited me

I was sitting outside and a female butcher visited me, coming to close to me on the deck railing. And had her baby nearby begging for food. She just spent a little time with me and looking for me. She called loudly to me when she first saw me.

Animal Whispering with my Pet Cockatiels Thursday 6 November 2025

I went away on holiday for a few days and when I came home I went outside and saw my pet cockatiels, 2 boys Gary and Sparkle. I could just feel just how much they missed me. I told them I loved them and had missed them. And I could tell Sparkle was saying he had noticed I was gone (since I talk to them every day) and he had been worried about me. He did some duet whistling with me, where he whistles half a wolf whistle and encourages me to finish it off and whistle with him. It's such a loving thing he does, and I felt like he was communicating to me about how we are always together and always a group and a family. 🩷

Over 2 days a kookaburra visited me out my window on the powerline. Today I went outside to feed my pet cockatiels and the kookaburra landed close to me on the deck railing. I offered the kookaburra some water 🩷 A lovely sweet magpie also visited me today as I was outside, did some beautiful singing and even flew up close to me on the deck railing and just spent some time with me  💜🐦

Animal whispering Wednesday 18 September 2024 - Benji the butcher bird

The magical energy is strong today...Benji the butcher bird a grey butcher bird just flew into the deck railing while I was outside only 2m away from me! He stayed there for about a minute before flying off!!!   I believe Benji wanted to "visit" me. His visits to me have been rare since I moved home not far away. Maybe he was sending me a message.  A few days ago I woke up to see a butcher bird singing outside my window on the powerline but when I went closer he flew away.

Animal Whispering 1 March 2024 - Butcher Birds, Dragonfly

Today at a lake me & my friend Sarah saw 2 friendly butcher birds that kept hanging out near us. I did some duet bird call singing with one of them. (as I'm good at whistling bird song) A beautiful light blue dragonfly also landed on Sarah!!! As well as flying around us a few times. A butcher bird I called Samson even came and sat right next to us & caught a bug to eat. Samson once flew past me flying so close to me just to be fun. When we left Samson landed next to the car in a tree to say goodbye as I waved to him! We didn't even  feed them they were just friendly.  When we first arrived for our picnic I didn't know what the birds were hidden in the tree next to us were at first. It was just beautiful bird calls and I whistled along copying them as I just love communicating with birds. But butcher birds are so intelligent and clever they might have been hiding from me at first just trying to trick me and they have shown me they can mimic other birds.  Today I al...
