We're ancient helpers of humans  Yes Jobs we've had  Now we wander and survive  I see them out my window every day  A flock on the powerline  The many small puffs of grey  We love to just hang out together  In the sunshine  Admiring the view  And visit the pet cockatiels out the back  Collecting some crumbs  And finding another good spot  To hang out  Many don't find us beautiful  But beauty's in the eye of the beholder  And to a pigeon  Another pigeon is the most beautiful creature  Yes we find love with one another  When some of us pair up  And the human has seen us  Kissing eachother with our beaks  And singing our cooing song  We love being free and surviving together as a flock  Finding food and water flying together  Then coming back as one  The roof is also a good place to hang out  Up so high  Sometimes we see the human outside  And we look ...

Little peewee bird in the front yard  Little peewee bird foraging in the grass  Little peewee birds with family so close  Little peewee bird sees me and knows  I am her friend but please keep your distance  Little peewee bird is just so small and fragile  Little peewee bird up on the powerline  Little peewee bird wings out calls and says  I'm the king of the castle though I'm small  But look at me this is my home and I know  I'm beautiful and shiny in black and white feathers  A little face and little beak  I'm a part of nature and I'm free  Please look up to me and respect me  I'm proud when I trumpet my song  Be my friend, watch my adventures, come along 

Went on a walk at North lakes environmental park today and Heard a couple butcher birds call and carry on loudly close to me after I had heard them and whistled to them and then when me and my mum sat down in the park another butcher bird flew onto the fence near us to say hi! And then I saw Benji the butcher bird next to the car when I got home 🐦

Today I woke up to kingfisher calls and Kingston the kingfisher on the powerline out my window watching me wake up!!!! So lovely!!! I haven't got a good picture yet of him because he is so small but here is a couple blurry photos I got. 

The magical energy is strong today...Benji the butcher bird a grey butcher bird just flew into the deck railing while I was outside only 2m away from me! He stayed there for about a minute before flying off!!!   I believe Benji wanted to "visit" me. His visits to me have been rare since I moved home not far away. Maybe he was sending me a message.  A few days ago I woke up to see a butcher bird singing outside my window on the powerline but when I went closer he flew away. 

Today at a lake me & my friend Sarah saw 2 friendly butcher birds that kept hanging out near us. I did some duet bird call singing with one of them. (as I'm good at whistling bird song) A beautiful light blue dragonfly also landed on Sarah!!! As well as flying around us a few times. A butcher bird I called Samson even came and sat right next to us & caught a bug to eat. Samson once flew past me flying so close to me just to be fun. When we left Samson landed next to the car in a tree to say goodbye as I waved to him! We didn't even  feed them they were just friendly.  When we first arrived for our picnic I didn't know what the birds were hidden in the tree next to us were at first. It was just beautiful bird calls and I whistled along copying them as I just love communicating with birds.
